Hi, my name is Dianne Rossiansky (Di Rosen). I am a single mother and a passionate advocate for empowering others. My life’s work has been dedicated to storytelling and skills development, but today, I find myself in a story I never imagined telling—one of survival.
In December 2024, I was diagnosed with Stage 4B lung cancer, which has spread to my lymph nodes and spine. Just a few weeks ago, I was looking forward to a new year, new contracts, and a future filled with hope. But suddenly, my world changed, and I was told I have only three months to live without immediate treatment.
I refuse to accept that timeline. I choose to fight.
The Urgent Need for Treatment
The only treatment that can help me survive beyond these three months is immunotherapy—a life-saving approach that my medical aid does not cover. The cost of this treatment is R1.6 million, which is far beyond my reach.
Thankfully, my oncologist has found a clinical trial that could include immunotherapy, but even with this, I still face months of intensive treatment, chemotherapy, blood tests, CT scans, and MRIs over the next 24 months. During this time, I will not be able to work or pay additional medical expenses.
That’s why I am reaching out for your help.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help me survive this battle and give me the chance to see my son graduate, to work again, and to continue making a positive impact.
Final Words from My Heart
I want to be here for my son. I want to wake up every day and continue to love, create, and inspire. I want to keep fighting because life is still beautiful, and I am not done yet.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting me. Your kindness gives me hope, and hope is what keeps me going.
With love and gratitude,
Di Rosen
