Shades of Survival is a multi-award-winning documentary, directed by David Ayeni. The film is powering global efforts for greater health equity and awareness in breast cancer, through screenings and education initiatives in three continents. The film explores the experiences of Black women diagnosed with breast cancer across continental Africa, the UK, and the USA. Through deeply personal interviews and expert insights, Shades of Survival examines the healthcare inequities Black women face at every step of their journey, while celebrating their courage and advocating for change.
